I LOVE their hickory bbq sauce and like the fact you can purchase bottles of it. I almost always get their tacos. They are great! Two fill me up but I still get one of each (there are 3 kinds: the brisket, the pulled pork and the chicken, bacon, ranch). The staff are very friendly and the place is always very clean, including the restroom. The last time I went, I ordered a full rack of ribs to go and they were fantastic. They had alot of meat and very little fat and fell off the bone tender and delicious! I haven't had all the sides but the ones I've had were really good (potato salad, and baked beans). If u haven't tried this place, you are missing out on some awesome food.
Went for the first time. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. Patient with me, which I always appreciate. The food was absolutely amazing. The pork was tender and smoky. The coleslaw was crispy without being dry. The sauce was delicious. Even the fries were top notch. Definitely worth the higher price, EASILY IMO.
First, I have to say they were better than Gates bbq in Kansas. So, if you're in the state, stop by. The food is good. They had okra as every BBQ place should. The owner is an ex NFL running back, which is cool.
The pulled pork was tender and good, the ribs were fall of the bone good. I also got the Mac n cheese (delicious), and green beans ( Smokey flavor with a hint of vinegar) soul food ish, and a banana stacker. The stacker had thick creamy whipped cream with banana pudding and vanilla wafers. It was good. Their sweet tea is on point! Sweet and just right. I preferred to mix their original BBQ sauce with the hickory flavor. I'm from Georgia so we like it sweet and full of flavor.
The food is amazing and fresh. The portions are perfect, and the house BBQ sauces are flavorful. We had the opportunity to meet the man himself, Pit Boss #20 Billy Sims.
We stopped for dinner after my meeting. I ordered the Two Meat Dinner of Pulled Pork and Sliced Brisket with Baked Potato Salad and green beans. My husband ordered the Two Meat Dinner with Ribs and Sliced Brisket with Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Both meals came with Bread. We both loved it!
